Where did you get the inspiration for your product?
BlueAvocado is driven by the desire to address the growing clutter and environmental problems caused by the use of disposable, non-recyclable, plastic bags. The inspiration behind the (re)zip came from our own needs when we could not find a solution in the market that had this unique combination of durability, functionality and simplicity.
What differentiates your product from similar products out there?
Our patent-pending (re)zips feature a leakproof, double lock seal and are made out of food safe, FDA-grade PEVA material. (re)zips are PVC-free, lead-free & BPA-free and are safe to use in the freezer.

The seemingly simple products are often the most complex in terms of development. It took quite a bit of design development, patience and some trial and error to arrive at a solution that was both simple and met our stringent performance requirements.
