- PRECISE MEASUREMENT METHODFor an inside mount: Subtract 1/2" from the window width and add at least 2" to the window height. For example, for a window measuring 21"W x 48"H, the blind width should be 20 1/2" (21"-1/2"), and the blind height should be 50" (48"+2"). For an outside mount: Add at least 4" to both the window width and height. For a 21"W x 48"H window, the blind width should be 25" (21"+4"), and the blind height should be 52" (48"+4").
